Try a Lectin Free Gourmet Iced Lavender Latte. This delicious, fragrant coffee drink will both energize you and relieve stress. Made with espresso, coconut and almond milks and a special Lectin Free Gourmet zero-sugar lavender simple syrup, you'll crave one every day.


Recipe


Lavender Latte

1 T Golden Monk Fruit Sweetener

1 T Water

1 Sprig Fresh Lavender (flower tops only)

1 Shot Espresso

1/2 C Unsweetened Coconut Milk

1/2 C Unsweetened Almond Milk


Instructions:

Start by making the Lectin Free Gourmet lavender simple syrup. Put monk fruit, water and lavender in a small sauce pan. Heat on high, swirling until it boils. Remove from heat and let steep for 5 minutes. This is enough syrup for one drink, but you can multiply the recipe to serve more or to store for future use. Just pop in microwave for a few seconds before using.


While your simple syrup is steeping, make a basic iced latte. Fill a tall glass with ice. Add the coconut and almond milks and pour in your espresso shot. I use a Nespresso machine. Now sweeten your latte with the lavender simple syrup. Garnish with a fresh lavender flower.
