Tunnel of Love Lava Cakes

The Recipe


LFG Tunnel of Love Lava Cakes

1 oz Unsweetened Chocolate Chips

1 Tbsp Raw Cacao Powder

1 Tbsp Marigold Collagen Peptides

1 Tbsp Brown Swerve

1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

1 Pastured Egg

1 or 2 squares of your favorite dark chocolate bar

1 tsp Grassfed Ghee (to grease ramekins)


Step 1: Melt Chocolate Chips

In a medium bowl, melt chocolate chips in microwave for 1 minute until glossy.


Step 2: Add Dry Ingredients

To the melted chocolate chips, add cacao powder, Marigold Collagen Peptides, and Brown Swerve. Mix well.


Step 3: Add Wet Ingredients

To the chocolate mixture, add vanilla and egg. Whisk well until smooth.


Step 4: Microwave

Pour into 4 oz ramekins greased with ghee. Now here's the tunnel of love part. Break up a couple squares of your favorite chocolate bar. I used Lindt Intense Orange. Insert the pieces of chocolate into the center of the lava cakes. Then microwave both cakes together for 60-90 seconds depending on your microwave strength. I have a tiny microwave, and "baked" mine for 1:05 to perfection. They were molten inside and the chocolate bar melted. PERFECTION!


Remove the cakes from their baking dishes and plate together. Sprinkle with love dust (confectioners sweetener) and garnish with two strawberries cut into heart shapes. Serve with two spoons.
