Chocolate chunk cookies made with Gundry MD PrebioThrive have the goodness of prebiotic fibers and dark chocolate for a gut-friendly, heart-healthy treat.
These chocolate chip cookies taste as good as they look. They're sweet, buttery, crispy on the edges, chewy on the inside with bursts of dark chocolate goodness throughout. But there's something very special about these chocolate chip cookies. They're made with Gundry MD PrebioThrive as the flour. That means not only are they a sweet treat, but they're also good for your gut.
PrebioThrive is one of my favorite Gundry MD supplements because it's unflavored. UNLIMITED POSSIBILITIES! It's a blank canvas to create whatever you want. PrebioThrive is a combination of proven prebiotics that help support digestive health by feeding your gut bugs. Acacia fiber, inulin, and oligosaccharides are all great prebiotic fibers that pass easily through your upper digestive tract and force your lower intestine and bowel to ferment the fibers, in turn growing your microbiome. HAPPY GUT BUGS!
So when you make these prebiotic chocolate chip cookies, not only are you pleasing your taste buds, but your feeding your gut bugs at the same time. And because they're made with dark chocolate, you are also treating your heart to a healthy dose of flavonoids. Flavonoids, particularly, flavonols, in dark chocolate are proven to lower the risk of heart disease. And studies show dark chocolate reduces the risk of insulin resistance and high blood pressure in adults.
Now that we know that these chocolate chip cookies taste good and are good for you, let's make them.
