I dare you to say it three times fast! These brownie waffles are so good, and gut-healthy sweet potato and pastured eggs make them lectin free. Make them!
You love brownies and you love waffles. So why not enjoy them together? My easy blender braffles taste just like the brownies you love, and waffle shape means zero guilt when you turn brownies into a breakfast food.
But there's nothing guilty about these braffles. They're main ingredient is gut-healthy sweet potatoes. This resistent starch provides a bit of sweetness and passes through your upper digestive tract. In turn, your lower digestive tract works hard to ferment the starch and feed those good gut bugs. Want to heal your gut? Eat these LFG braffles.
They're oh so chocolately good and good for you. Now let's make them.
The Recipe
LFG Blender Braffles
1 Cup Baked Sweet Potato Flesh
2 Large Pastured Eggs
3 Tbsp. Raw Cacao Powder
1 t Vanilla Extract
1 t Stevia Extract
1 t Aluminum Free Baking Powder
Step 1: Blend Ingredients
In a blender, blend all the ingredients together until smooth.
Step 2: Make Braffles
Pre-heat your waffle iron. Spray the bottom iron with a compliant oil. I like Thrive Market's ghee spray oil. Spoon braffle batter into a thin layer onto your hot, oiled iron. Make sure the batter reaches the edges. Spray the top iron and close. Cook about two minutes or wait for your indicator light so signal the braffle is done.
Plate braffles and sprinkle a few 72% cacao chocolate chips onto them while they're hot.
ENJOY!
How many servings? I have to make sure I make enough so I can have some for me my husband will eat all! They look delicious 😋
Wow! Yours turned out amaze balls! Thanks for trying my recipe! 💚Kristine
These turned out so well and so easy! Love them in the morning with my coffee ☕️
Hi Nanci! Yes for sure you can replace the stevia. Just sweeten your taste. You don’t need much because the sweet potato already provides som sweetness. ENJOY! 💚Kristine
Cannot wait to try these Braffles!! Do you suppose a monkfruit sub for the stevia would work?
